For quality fitted furniture and kitchen cabinetry, Suenos Corporation delivers unprecedented quality at incredible prices.
Cabinet boxes are made from 18mm thick cabinet grade birch plywood. Faces are all solid cherry. No particle board or melamine products are allowed in any of the Suenos kitchen cabinet products. Constructed using traditional biscuit and mortise joints, each box is carefully milled and assembled.
Unlike most cabinet manufacturers, once assembled, each cabinet is returned to the drying kiln to eliminate any atmospheric or other moistures that have been absorbed by the wood during the manufacturing process. Upon completion of the second kiln process, to stabilize the assembly, each cabinet surface is sanded, hand rubbed and finished with our unique 9 step factory finish process for a deep, rich, durable finish.
Unlike many cabinetry makers who only finish the visible parts of the cabinets, Suenos cabinets are finished on all sides to prevent the re-absorption and migration of atmospheric moisture into any part of the wood or joints. Drawers have finger joints at all four corners. Slides are full extension under mount German slides so as not to be visible when the drawer is extended. All interior cabinet surfaces receive the same hand rubbed factory finish as the exterior surfaces. Doors use recessed high quality, precision engineered, adjustable German hinges. Each door panel is hand edge glued for quality craftsmanship. All edges on all doors, drawers and panels are permanently sealed. Assemblies are pinned and doweled where needed to insure years of maintenance free use.
Hanging rails are a full 18 mm (5/8) inch thick to provide a stable and sturdy attachment of the cabinet to the wall allowing support for hundred of pounds of china and utensils. Solid cherry corbels are all hand carved by skilled artisans with strict attention to detail. The crown molding is made from four separate molding styles to provide a highly detailed finish. Doors and drawers are recessed into the frame reminiscent of early European craftsmanship.
